Construction Experience
The projects in this section are a combination of a variety of my construction experiences. These projects show some work experience as well as work I have done for fun for family/myself. Since Covid I started doing some woodworking that has resulted in some live edge tables and a bench.
Water Softener Closet
My family had a water softener installed and wanted to hide and eliminate some of the extra noise it makes.  My dad tasked me with figuring out the best way to frame out the new closet.  I then had to estimate the materials and price. Tthen we got the materials and constructed the closet.

Replaced Siding
A big storm the summer of 2014 caused some of the siding above the garage of my dad's house to need replacing.  It was good experience to replace the siding with my dad.

Shooting Benches for Police
I went down to visit my uncle over Christmas Break my junior year of College.  While I was visiting, we constructed two shooting benches for the new Fraternal Order of Police shooting range my uncle was setting up.  A shooting bench is used to help sight in a rifle in case the police officers ever had to use the rifles.

Single-Story Condo Development
Over the last two summers of college, I worked for a construction company that built single-story condos.  I worked on site in the development of condos doing all kinds of construction laborer tasks. When I started we were setting trusses and sheathing the roof.  We then did the siding on the patio side of the five unit structure.  I was also tasked with installing firewall, windows, doors, and  privacy fences. My second summer we were starting new units from the ground up so at the end of of my time with the company I had just about built an entire building of units and prepared the interior for the occupants to move in.

Live Edge Tables
Since Covid started I have finally started doing some woodworking I've always wanted to do. I have completed 2 different tables, one for myself and one for my mom's dining room. I am now working on 2 more tables for my place. It has been a fun learning experience with results I'm super proud of.
